What remains when the brief is gone. Most of my working days are spent photographing places for someone else — hotels, interiors, architecture and the people who bring them to life.

But there is another side to my work. Between assignments and on walks through unfamiliar streets, I photograph the things that simply catch my attention — a certain light, an empty street, the quiet geometry of a building, a fleeting moment.

There is no brief behind these photographs. No client, no shot list. Just curiosity. This collection is a growing archive of cities, architecture and everyday life as I experience them — photographs I make simply because I want to remember a place the way I saw it. A selection of these personal works is now available as fine art prints.

This shot was actually one of my very first photos in Paris. As it was very cloudy that day, I thought I’d wrap the whole Eiffel Tower in clouds, both from above and from below.
